Granite
Granite is a common, coarse-grained, hard igneous rock consisting chiefly of quartz, orthoclase or microcline, and mica. Granite has been used as a building material since ancient times. It is one of the oldest and most durable building products available, and will far outlast the building in which it is installed.
Marble
Marble is a metamorphic rock that is created as a result of the metamorphosis of a combination of rocks under intense pressure and temperatures. These rocks include calcite, limestone, dolomite and serpentine. The main component of marble is calcium carbonate and contains acidic oxide.
Travonics
Travonics, sandstone that has been converted into a solid quartz rock. Unlike sandstones, quartzites are free from pores and have a smooth fracture; when struck, they break through, not around, the sand grains, producing a smooth surface instead of a rough and granular one.
Travertine
Travertine is a type of limestone that is formed by mineral deposits from natural springs. This sedimentary stone is created by a rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate, known as calcite. Other minerals mix together with the calcite to create unique swirls and movement that give travertine its distinctive character.
Onyx
Onyx primarily refers to the parallel banded variety of chalcedony, a silicate mineral. Agate and onyx are both varieties of layered chalcedony that differ only in the form of the bands: agate has curved bands and onyx has parallel bands. The colors of its bands range from black to almost every color.
Crystal
Crystal porcelain stone is one of the limestone or dolomite rocks that are changed due to temperature and pressure and re-crystallized during the process. Therefore, the formation process of stone formation can be considered as metamorphic rocks and it is considered as one of calcareous metamorphic rocks. Minerals such as hematite, quartz, calcite and wollastonite are the ingredients of this type of stone. Crystal porcelain stones can be considered the same family as marble stones, but naturally they have similarities and differences with them.
